I don't know if its real or not. He immediately climbs back up and jumps again, successfully hanging himself. They have the problem, not me. I recently learned that Tom Wilson, the actor who played Biff in Back to the Future, of the questions he gets asked most frequently. In the original version that was put out, if you can get your hands on it, you can see a man hanging himself in the background very clearly. I saw it and it was the exact same thing as what I saw in my newer version, a bird moving around. I can't believe this one is still going around -- or that people who actually watch the scene still believe it. Like the ''face'' in the Godfather or the ''ghost'' in Three men and a Baby. Who was responsible for cleaning something like that up? When he was not getting better fast enough, the filmmakers hired Jack Haley to be the Tin Man instead. Goes to show, not everything is as it seems and even the brightest of things have hidden darkness. I own the collectors addition of the film, which was unedited, and it is clear that it is not a person or one of the birds because I have checked before and watched very closely.

The other one Which I haven't ever noticed happens after the Cowardly Lion joins the group. Presumably the bird is supposed to provide atmosphere, but basically all it does is pop into the frame at odd moments. Turns out that rumor is false. We saw the footage closely and they even showed us before shots of the person. The scenes had to be shot quickly before the horses started to lick it off. It's definitely a bird, and I have heard this story before. No munchkin, no hanging — just a big bird.

Nothing Is there except a bird. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that the so called hangman is a Crane. Well, that can't be true because he is my friend's third cousin, and she didn't hear anything about that. I have heard so many stories of what its supposed to be.
